We are proud to share a moment of historic importance for Polish innovation in medical technology. BrainScan.AI has received the Gold Medal from the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the most prestigious award in the global radiology community. Outperforming over 1,300 medical teams from around the world, our AI solution was recognized as the most effective tool for brain hemorrhage detection worldwide.

This achievement was powerfully acknowledged by Dr. Maciej Kawecki, President of the Lem Institute and a respected science communicator, who described BrainScan as the most important AI ever developed in Poland. His words emphasized not only the groundbreaking technology itself, but also the exceptional story behind the team that created it.

Today, BrainScan.AI operates on a foundation of over 90 million individual brain CT images, analyzing 25,000 scans each month. Just a few months ago, that number stood at 18,000 – a testament to our rapid expansion and growing global impact. Our solution is already being used to support emergency diagnostics and save lives in hospitals across Poland, the United States, Germany, Bulgaria, Morocco, and India.

A 20-month study conducted with the Regional Hospital in Poznań confirmed the real-world impact of our system. The results showed significantly reduced time spent in emergency care by stroke patients, improving the effectiveness of triage and treatment at critical moments. Every percentage point gained in speed translates directly to lives saved – a truth that drives our daily work.

We are grateful to Dr. Kawecki and the “This is IT” team for their in-depth and empathetic documentary, which sheds light on both our technology and the people behind it. At BrainScan.AI, we remain committed to transforming healthcare with artificial intelligence – responsibly, transparently, and always with the patient at the center.
