BrainScan.AI was proud to return to Oktoberfest 2024 for the second consecutive year, continuing our collaboration with the Radiology Department at LMU Klinikum München and deepc to deliver cutting-edge AI-powered diagnostic support. As the world’s largest beer festival came to a close, we reflected on yet another milestone in AI-driven emergency care – one where advanced technology helped make critical treatment faster, safer, and more efficient.
This year’s deployment once again featured on-site AI-powered CT scanning, revolutionizing how urgent medical cases were handled during the event. By enabling real-time image analysis and clinical decision support, we contributed to a system that reduced unnecessary hospital transfers and empowered medical teams to act immediately – a success story even highlighted in the New England Journal of Medicine. The published study recognized the groundbreaking impact of mobile CT and AI collaboration during the festival, showcasing how large public gatherings can benefit from next-generation medical infrastructure.
